Supervises all affairs of the Society and presides over every meeting — declaring votes and casting the deciding vote in a tie. Acts as signing authority on the bank accounts, coordinates fundraising with the Co-Chair, oversees PAWS' day-to-day, and keeps PAWS in good standing with AGLC and the Government of Alberta. Works with the Treasurer to secure insurance, collaborates with the casino coordinator, and helps with fundraisers, fun lunches, and PAWS events to promote parental involvement.

Assumes all responsibilities of the Chair in their absence and runs the meeting when the Chair can't attend. Collaborates with the Chair on all matters, acts as signing authority on the bank accounts alongside the Chair and Treasurer, and connects with fundraising contacts to keep initiatives running smoothly. Creates and uploads reminders, explanations, and updates for fundraising on social media and passes them to Admin for SchoolZone.

Works with the team to create the monthly agenda and records and posts minutes of all meetings, keeping a file of minutes and correspondence. Manages all correspondence under the Chair's direction, keeps the record of members and their addresses, and works with Admin to upload agenda and minutes to SchoolZone. Collaborates with the Co-Chair to post fun lunch, event, and fundraiser reminders on Instagram and Facebook, and helps with fundraisers and PAWS events when able.

Represents, monitors, and controls all financial transactions and keeps an accurate accounting of Society finances. Prepares and distributes financial reports at each meeting, receives and deposits all monies collected, and acts as signing authority on the bank accounts. Presents the audited Annual Financial Statement and reports on annual fundraising results at the AGM, submits the AGLC financial report at the end of March, and completes the annual return to AGLC after the June 30th year-end.

Attends board meetings and arranges and connects with fun lunch vendors via the Healthy Hunger platform. Coordinates Fun Lunch / Treat Day set-up on those days, works with the Co-Chair to post reminders on Instagram and Facebook, and connects with and organizes volunteers on Fun Lunch / Treat days. Assists with fundraisers and PAWS events when able. Up to two members may hold this position.
